Sable

Sable will be turning 21 this year.

"Sable" is an AMHA A40221, AMHR 56205PA, 31.5" registered black

stallion. His foal date is 3/30/91 but don't let that fool you. He is very

much full of himself and loves the ladies!! He is an Orion Light Van't

Huttenest direct son and has sired many champions. He himself is a 1994

National Top Ten and National Top Ten Sire. Sable is an awesome stallion

and he has a presence and confidence like no other. Sable will be available

to a limited number of outside mares in 2012 so here is your opportunity to

introduce or enhance your herd with the Orion bloodline. Please inquire if

B Summer Rain ) Her 2009 filly was 2nd in the SD Weanling Filly Futurity,

right behind her half sister(Bondes Bouncin B Dusty). Her 2011 Colt was

Grand Champion Stallion at the SD State Fair. He will be on Bondes Bouncin

B Miniatures show string this year.

Samantha has successful show horses on both sides of her pedigree. Her

sire and grandsire were both National Top Ten Stallions. Her dam was also a

winning show mare. She has a strong show record of her own. She was

Champion of Champions at the South Dakota State Fair as a yearling. She

was Grand Champion Junior Mare and Reserve Grand Champion Mare at the

Sioux Empire Fair in Sioux Falls and Reserve Grand Champion Junior Mare

and Reserve Grand Mare at the South Dakota State Fair as a two year old.

She added 5 Reserve Grands and 5 Grand Champions to her record as an

aged mare. Samantha now officially joins Bondes Bouncin B's brood mare

herd.

Sable's sire, Orion Light Van't Huttenest, a 31", blue roan pintaloosa, was by far, the leading sire of National and Reserve National Grand Champions in AMHA history and his offspring continue winning today. He was leggy, refined, had a pencil thin neck that was set high on his shoulders, a slightly dished head that ended in a clean, tappered muzzle. Orion passed away in January of 2005 at age of thirty. He remains one of the premier stallions that has helped in the development of today's modern Miniature Horses, and will be missed.
